The Oshman Family JCC welcomes Shabbat every Friday, bringing the community together with an array of activities including bagels and coffee, Challah for sale, food trucks, family center Friday play, a bouncy house and an artisan crafts market.

Rosh Hashanah Festival

Rosh Hashanah Festival
In Hebrew, Rosh Hashanah means, literally, "head of the year" or "first of the year."
Rosh Hashanah is commonly known as the Jewish New Year and is one of the holiest days in the Jewish calendar.

Join us for an exciting afternoon of children's activities, delicious food and lively entertainment. From beekeeper demonstrations and a honey cake competition to honey tasting and shofar making, everyone in the family will enjoy partaking in the traditions of the festive holiday of Rosh Hashanah. The celebration will conclude with a live performance by Shamati at 5:30 PM.

Sukkot Community Celebration
Spend the afternoon with family and friends at our festive celebration for all ages!

Come decorate the OFJCC Sukkah with friends and family. There will be fun holiday oriented activities. The Midrahov will have artists, musicians, food vendors and children activities including a bounce house, face painting, baked goods and so much more!

Zionism 3.0: Israel’s Place in Tomorrow’s World
The Oshman Family JCC is delighted to partner with Israeli newspaper Haaretz to present: Zionism 3.0.
In partnering with other Jewish organizations from around the Bay Area, the OFJCC will host a conference for our community to learn from Israeli and American thought leaders about Israel, the Middle East, the Peace Process, Iran, BDS, and the role of the Jewish community. Keynote will be given by Jeffrey Goldberg, American Israeli journalist and staff writer for The Atlantic.
