Advanced Strength and Conditioning

Effective. Efficient. Intense. These 55-minute workouts are designed to be both intense and thorough. In this small training group of four participants, we will look to master strength and power using fundamental barbell movements in addition to the most important body weight exercises. Along with building strength and form, you will trim body fat through strategically formatted metabolic conditioning circuits and high intensity interval training (HIIT).

Pilates

Pilates is a method of exercise and physical movement designed to stretch, strengthen, and balance the body.

Practiced faithfully, Pilates yields numerous benefits. Increased lung capacity and circulation through deep, healthy breathing is a strong focus. Strength and flexibility, particularly of the abdomen and back muscles, as well as both mental and muscular coordination, are key components in an effective Pilates program. Posture, balance, and core strength are all increased.

Bone density and joint health improve, and many experience positive body awareness for the first time. Pilates teaches balance and control of the body and mind, and that capacity spills over into other areas of one's life.

For Members new to Pilates, the OFJCC offers a special Welcome Package for $185 that includes three 55-minute private lessons.  


Private Pilates Sessions
One-on-one training is the best way to progress in Pilates whether you’re an advanced student or just starting out. A trained instructor will tailor your workout to meet your specific goals while incorporating the basic Pilates principles of strength and flexibility.

Single session:   $80
5-pack:             $390
10-pack:            $750

Partner Pilates Duet Sessions
Grab a friend or family member and get fit and feel better together. Partners should be at approximately the same fitness level to maximize results.

Single session:  $120

Private 30 Minute Sessions
Compliment your gym workout or favorite Group exercise class by adding a quick Pilates session before or after to stretch you out and deeply work your core.  Or, if you are starting out, this is a good way to build your core endurance before you go for a full hour session.

10-pack:           $400

Small Group Reformer Classes
The workhorse of Pilates is the Reformer, a specialized piece of equipment with a moving platform that uses spring resistance. The Reformer allows for full range of motion and challenges your core and stability. It helps novice students by placing them in proper alignment while challenging experienced students by adding resistance throughout the exercises. Many Pilates enthusiasts prefer working on Reformers, which offer more resistance and support than a mat. A small class size (limited to four people) guarantees you’ll receive plenty of individualized attention.

4-week series (4 classes):    $130

Two-Classes-a-Week Discount Packages
When practicing Pilates at least twice weekly, you will experience the profound physical and postural benefits faster, and with more lasting results.  Commit to 8 sessions every month, and you can feel that wonderful lengthened and core-engaged sensation that only Pilates brings, all week long, with less time in between classes!
