כיתה זו מיועדת לתלמידים העולים לכיתה ג' בשנת הלימודים הקרובה, דוברי עברית, בעלי
ידע בקריאה וכתיבה בעברית. השיעורים יתקיימו אחת לשבוע במשך שעה וחצי. תכנית
הלימודים מתמקדת בלימוד השפה, טיפוח מיומנויות קריאה וכתיבה, העשרת אוצר המילים, היכרות עם חגי ומועדי ישראל, וחשיפה להווי והתרבות היהודיים/ישראלים. במהלך השנה, התלמידים נדרשים לקרוא שני ספרי חובה כחלק מתוכנית הלימודים. 
במסגרת הלמידה יושם דגש על התחומים הבאים:

הקנייה וטיפוח קריאה והבנת הנקרא.

טיפוח הכתיבה המובנית והיצירתית.
-
העמקה בנושאים לשוניים ובמיומנויות תקשורתיות.
-
ציון החגים והמועדים בשנה היהודית.
שותפות ההורים: אנחנו מעודדים שיתוף פעולה מיטבי בין ההורים והמורים.
התקשורת עם ההורים
תהיה בכמה ערוצים:

מפגש הורים: בחודש הראשון של השנה יתקיים מפגש קבוצתי בו המורה יציג את תפיסת
העבודה בכיתה ואת התוכנית השנתית.

חגיגות ואירועים: במהלך השנה יתקיימו מספר פעילויות משפחתיות.

דיווחים שוטפים: ההורים יקבלו עדכונים על ההתקדמות בתכנית הלימודים ועל התרחשויות
משמעותיות דרך מערכת Remini.

Kita Gimmel (third grade) is for incoming third grade students, who speak
Hebrew and have beginner to intermediate knowledge of reading and writing in
Hebrew. The classes will be held once a week for an hour-and-a-half. Kita Gimmel
students will continue advancing their reading and writing skills, enrich their
vocabulary and communicate in Hebrew with their peers and teacher. Students
learn in an interactive environment about the Jewish calendar, holidays and
Israeli culture. As part of the curriculum, students will read two books during the year.
The class will focus on the following content:
- Acquiring and developing reading skills
- Writing stories
- Strengthening language and comprehension
- Celebrating holidays and events in the Jewish calendar
Parental Partnership: Cooperation and open dialogue between teachers and parents are a vital part of the Beged Kefet experience.
Communication with parents
will be through several channels:

Parents' Meeting: During the first month of the school year, a group meeting will be held
during which the teacher will present the annual program and classroom culture, as
well as work expectations.

Celebrations and events: During the year there will be a number of family
activities.

Regular reports: Parents will receive updates about the program progress and
significant events through the Remini website/app.
