    Mitzvah Corps: Monthly Projects

    OFJCC Palo Alto JCC

Volunteer on select Sundays, weekdays and evenings.

Throughout the year, the Mitzvah Corps program gives people hands-on opportunities to improve their community, help those in need and engage in the Jewish practice of tikkun olam—repairing the world through action

Mitzvah Corps collaborates with dozens of local organizations to provide two to four projects per month. Our age-appropriate family projects enable parents to teach by example and families to experience the power of making a difference together.

A variety of adult and young-adult projects give individuals who share a commitment to community action the opportunity to connect and get to know each other on a deeper level.

We have brought smiles to hundreds of people in need throughout the South Bay and we plan to continue to expand the program. Please check back often for the latest projects.

Prior registration required. For more information, please email Luba at [email protected].

Some projects are designed for multiple age groups. We require all children younger than 14 years old be accompanied by an adult. We reserve the right to change or cancel your project selection if you sign up for a project that is not age-appropriate for you or your family members.

Are you unable to participate but still want to support a cause? We have set up a list of items you can provide for projects, which can be found on Amazon Smile. Click here for the full list. For other ways to give, please click here.
