    OFJCC Day of Remembrance IsraAid

Bring your family to this special and unique day as we remember 9/11. We will work together on hands-on projects that will be donated to people living in emergency shelters, such as those hit by Hurricane Harvey, and prepare thank you packs for First Responders in our area to show our appreciation for all that they do.

Learn about the amazing work of IsraAid, a humanitarian organization providing aid around the world when disaster hits, including deploying a team to recently devastated areas in Texas.

Hear from Dr. Niveen Rizkalla from the University of California Berkeley. As members of a prosperous society in the Bay Area, most aspire to contribute to populations in need from near and afar. These populations might have gone through natural disasters, famine, health issues, separations from family members, loss, lack of shelter, property, safety, stability or traumatic war experiences and other atrocities that one can't comprehend. See what you and your family can do to best help.
