In the Childbirth Prep Series, the birthing person and their partner will be guided to develop tools and techniques in an interactive and engaging set of classes. While covering all topics of any comprehensive childbirth preparation, as birth doulas, the facilitators begin by imparting their knowledge and information gathered from a variety of resources such as: Lamaze, DONA, the Birth Coach Method, Pelvic Dynamics and The Body Ready Method, in addition to their backgrounds in education, to guide you through birth's journey.
Lamaze's three pillars—1. evidence-based; 2. respectful; everyone's journey to parenthood is unique; and 3. transformative as the journey from pregnancy to parenthood can is life-changing for many families—resonate with Blossom's philosophy.
