This 12-week small group training program is designed for adult cancer patients and survivors who have recently become deconditioned or chronically fatigued from their treatment and/or disease.
Our goal is to help survivors build muscle mass and strength, increase flexibility and endurance, and improve functional ability. Additional goals include reducing the side effects from therapy, preventing unwanted weight changes and
improving energy levels and self esteem. A final goal of the program is to assist participants in developing their own physical fitness program so they can continue to practice a healthy lifestyle.
Instructors:
- Leeann Higgins, certified by Stanford in the Living Strong Living Well Cancer Recovery Fitness Program
