The DEKA STRONG and DEKA MILE are coming to the OFJCC on June 24. Known as the "Super Bowl of Fitness", this event is comprised of 10 exercises that you will complete as fast as possible, for time. Once you complete all 10 exercises, you will earn a medal, a T-shirt and your "DEKA Mark", which goes live to the worldwide DEKA leaderboard.
To help you train for the upcoming event on June 24, we are proud to offer a free group exercise class every Monday at 4:00-5:00 PM with DEKA pro athlete and OFJCC Personal Trainer, Tara Pipia. Participation in the June event is not a requirement to join this class, but you may find yourself inspired to give it a try!
DEKA STRONG features 10 exercise zones with no running. DEKA MILE includes a 0.1 mile run between each zone:
- 30 Weighted Alternating Reverse Lunges
- 500M Row
- 20 Box Jump/Step Over
- 25 Med Ball Sit-up and Throw
- 500M Ski Erg
- 100M Farmers Carry
- 25 Calorie Air Bike
- 20 Dead Ball Wall Over
- 100M Tank Pull/Push
- 20 RAM Burpee
