In this workshop, you can expect a light and fun atmosphere with hands-on learning. It is designed for families to learn useful tools and techniques that can help ease labor, promote relaxation, build confidence and promote labor progress.
Topics included:
- Review the first stage of labor
- Breathing

Relaxation
- Partner massage + counter pressure techniques
- Various labor positions for different phases of labor
- How to use birth ball and peanut ball to help promote progress in labor
- Daily movement recommendations to increase range of motion for labor
Please wear comfortable clothing. You can bring something to take notes with if you'd like. You'll have the opportunity to practice what you learn and ask questions. This is an excellent workshop for families who want a refresher, want more hands-on practice together and anyone who wants to feel comfortable going into labor with a good set of tools in their tool bag.
