נטע שני התחילה את המסע הטיפולי שלה בתור מדקרת ילדים לפני למעלה משני עשורים. דרך הילדים שלה נחשפה לראשונה לאתגרים בוויסות החושי והרגשי, ותוך כדי חיפוש כלי טיפול חדשים ומחקר מעמיק על גמישות המח שלנו, יצרה שיטת טיפול ייחודית על מנת להשתמש ביכולת הטבעית של הגוף לרפא את עצמו, וזה הפך להיות הפוקוס שלה בתור מטפלת. נטע גם מרצה בפני הורים, מחנכים ורופאי ילדים ווראה בכך שליחות בשביל הלעלות את הנושא למודעות ולעזור לילדים החווים אתגרים בנושאים אלו לקבל את התמיכה לה הם זקוקים. ספרה (יחד חגית סגל) Happy Campers: A Trip Full of Emotions עוסק בנושא זה.
