7:15 PM: Standing (Alone) at Sinai: Stories of Conversion Here and in Israel
Visiting scholar, Rabbi Joshua Weisberg, will screen a short film he made about a young Israeli woman who recently converted, and he will speak about his own experience with conversion and Jewish identity in Israel. Two members of the community will also speak about their conversion experiences.
