Israel for REEL: Join us for a fascinating look at Israel like you’ve never seen before!
Let’s come together, and define the role Israel plays as part of our Jewish identity!
The ICC is proud to bring a unique program which uses Israeli film to tackle some of the most challenging aspects of what it means to be a democratic Jewish state, and thrive as one, in the Middle East today. Providing a safe space to come together and celebrate our different cultural perspectives as a means for elevating knowledge about Israel.
From Israel’s history to geopolitics to scientific contributions and everything in-between, this seven session program is oriented around igniting a sense of pride, despite not agreeing with every Israeli policy; defining the role of Israel in our Jewish identity and equipping participants with tools to effectively engage in conversations about Israel, including in situations where the conversation or environment is hostile to Israel.
