    Member Policies

    The following are basic policies and procedures for your membership at the Oshman Family Jewish Community Center.


    Membership Freezes
    Freeze Policies:
    • Freezes are offered for a minimum duration of 1 month to a maximum duration of 3 months
    • We do not offer indefinite freezes; freezes must have a defined start and end date
    • Freezes can be applied to the entire account or to specified members only (default is entire account)
    • Accounts can be frozen for a maximum of 3 months per calendar year
    • Freeze requests will not be processed until all required information has been submitted (see Procedures below)
    • We do not offer retroactive freezes
    • Allow 3-5 business days for processing, starting from the time of the freeze request

    Freeze Procedures:

    • Information to include in your freeze request:
      – Name
      – Contact info
      – Member(s) to freeze
      – Freeze Start Date
      – Freeze End Date
      – Reasons for Freeze 
    • To request online, email [email protected] with the subject "Freeze Request"
    • To request by phone, call the Member Services office at (650) 223-8723
    • To request in-person, stop by the Front Desk or Member Services office
    • Please do not send any requests regarding your membership to ABC Fitness Solutions, LLC, as we will not receive them

    Membership Cancellations
    Cancellation Policies:

    • 30 days advance notice is required, beginning from the date of the cancel request
    • During the 30-day period, the account will be active; members are encouraged to use the facilities until their membership expires
    • Cancel requests made while the account is frozen will result in the account reactivating for the final 30 days of membership
    • The account will be billed for the final 30 days of membership, which may entail prorated dues in the final month
    • Cancel requests will not be processed until all required information has been submitted (see Procedures)
