Improving the world begins with taking direct, hands-on actions to help those in need. Each year, the Center for Social Impact mobilizes thousands of volunteers—from children to young adults to seniors—and brings them together to create positive social change throughout the South Bay.
We are always looking to expand and offer new volunteer programs. We participate in Compassion Week, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. National Day of Service, Earth Day and more!

Join us to save a life by donating blood. Stanford Blood Center connects local donors to local patients through blood donation. Their mobile van comes to the OFJCC several times a year.
Several times throughout the year, the Oshman Family JCC hosts collection drives for those less fortunate. We have collected baby clothing, shoes, toiletries and more.
Kol Isha is the OFJCC’s intensive women’s leadership program. Over the course of eighteen months, a small group of local women come together to build community, participate in serious Jewish learning, and create local social justice projects.
