Gifts of cash are an easy way to support the OFJCC and may be 100% tax deductible. You can pay online for convenience or set up an automatic monthly donation.
donor advised funds
Donor-advised funds (DAFs) are a simple, tax-efficient way to give. To make a gift, please contact your DAF sponsor and recommend a grant to the Oshman Family JCC.
Gifts of Appreciated Stock
By donating appreciated stocks, bonds or mutual fund shares that you have owned for more than a year, you may be able to avoid capital gains taxes and receive a charitable income tax deduction for the fair market value of your gift. Gifts of Bitcoin
Before you sell bitcoin and donate the after-tax proceeds, consider donating your bitcoin directly to the Oshman Family Jewish Community Center. Your tax deduction will be equal to the fair market value of the donated bitcoin (as determined by a qualified appraisal). Your gift to the OFJCC will be larger because instead of paying capital gains taxes, the 501(c)(3) charity will receive the full value of your contribution. Gifts through Wire Transfer
You may make a gift by transferring funds from your bank account to the OFJCC bank account. If you plan to make a gift this way, or to get instructions for wire transfer, please contact Rachel Guedelhoefer at [email protected].
Legacy Society members make provisions for the OFJCC through their wills or estate plans, retirement accounts or through other planned giving methods. Click here for more information.
Tribute Gifts
Tribute gifts are a thoughtful way to celebrate milestones such as birthdays, b’nai mitzvot, anniversaries and graduations, send condolences or get well messages to friends or family, or honor the passing of a loved one. If appropriate, we will send a card with your message to the honoree, in recognition of the tribute gift.

Vehicle Donations and In-Kind Gifts
Avoid the hassle of selling your vehicle and get a tax deduction too! Certain other types of in-kind donations are also accepted. To donate your vehicle, contact www.careasy.org. To inquire further, please email [email protected].

We are officially Sports Basementeers! Sports Basement donates 10% of annual profits back to nonprofit organizations and schools.
The more people that choose the OFJCC as their nonprofit of choice, the more Sports Basement will give back to us.
eScrip is a hassle-free way for you to raise funds for the Leslie Family Preschool through everyday purchases made with eScrip merchants.
Just go to www.eScrip.com, register your credit, debit and grocery club cards, and choose the OFJCC Preschool Parent Council. A percentage of all purchases made at eScrip merchants will be given back to our Preschool.
