Our Impact IN 2024–25:
A message from Oshman Family JCC Board Chair Adam Tachner and President & CEO Zack Bodner
Dear Friends,
Rabbi Lord Jonathan Sacks called Judaism “the voice of hope in the conversation of humankind.” In these challenging times, the resilience and solidarity of our people remain unshaken. We are humbled by the hope and perseverance we see in our community in the face of adversity—and we see that hope reflected in your steadfast commitment to the Oshman Family JCC and its mission. Your generosity fuels connection, strengthens our community and ensures that hope continues to shine.
None of us is a passive observer on the path to progress; we are all active agents in shaping the future we envision. Your support of the OFJCC has a real impact. With your help, we live our core values every day:
- We are WELCOMING. The OFJCC is a place where everyone feels seen, safe, and embraced—a center for the entire community. Our goal is unity, not uniformity.
- We are PIONEERING. The OFJCC adapts and innovates, nimbly taking bold steps to meet the needs of a changing world.
- We are COLLABORATIVE. The OFJCC actively seeks partnerships across backgrounds, beliefs and perspectives—recognizing that our strength lies in our ability to co-create with others.
- We are JEWISH. Our heritage is our compass. It informs our identity, guides our values and inspires our unwavering support for Israel, the Jewish people and the right to self-determination and peace.
We invite you to review our 2024–2025 Virtual Impact Report and reflect on our journey and the meaningful work we’ve accomplished together. The Report is a testament to not only what we’ve done, but to who we are as a community.
Thank you for standing with us—for your resilience, your support and your belief in the power of community. As always, we welcome your feedback and connection at [email protected].
With gratitude and hope,
Zack Bodner, OFJCC President and CEO
Adam Tachner, OFJCC Board Chair

Because of you, we can meet teens where they are—listening to their needs, honoring their interests, and creating programs that truly matter. Some teens are searching for a safe space to connect with Jewish peers, free from antisemitism, fear, and judgment. Others are looking for fun, friendship, and new opportunities to engage. Thanks to your support, we offer a diverse menu of programs that cater to all of these needs.

Also, the opportunity to do the Teen Mental Health First Aid training as a branch-off of PREP was very valuable, and I learned a lot of information there that changed the way I think as well.
