Shirley Sabo has over 25 years of experience in education in Israel, Florida and California, including working with high school students towards their high school diploma (baccalaureate). She holds a ‘senior teacher’ certification from the Israeli department of education, focusing on two subjects—education for the hearing impaired and Hebrew literature for middle school and high school. In the US, Shirley taught at Gideon Hausner Jewish Day School in Palo Alto for six years. Before that, she taught for three years in Orlando, Florida.

In Israel, Shirley developed educational programs for teaching the English language at Bar-Ilan University, taught at the unique “Tamar’s House” in Kibbutz Shefayim and at middle and high schools in the central region of Israel. Shirley relocated to California in 2010 with her husband and two children. Since then, the family grew with the addition of Toffee, a happy and energetic dog who likes to nap on her shoes and bark at the neighbor’s dog while she’s on a video call.
