לנירית נסיון של למעלה מ-20 שנה בהובלה ופיתוח צוותים, הדרכה וליווי, שיווק ומכירות. לאחר שנים רבות של תפקידים בכירים בתחום הפארמה, נירית בחרה במסלול הסבת אקדמאים להוראה מתוך אמונה כי, לדבריה, “חינוך ילדינו קובע את עתידנו”, ועבדה כמחנכת ומורה למדעים בחטיבת ביניים בראש העין, ישראל.

עם הצטרפותה לחטיבת הביניים, הקימה והובילה נירית את מסלול המנהיגות של בית הספר. מסלול העשרה זה נועד לפתח ולטפח נוער מוכשר וערכי שיהווה עתודה מנהיגותית. במסגרת המסלול הועצמו התלמידים, בהנחיית נירית, להוביל קמפיינים חשובים לכלל תלמידי בית הספר בנושאים כגון מעמד האישה, קיימות, אחריות מנהיגותית ועוד.

כחלק מהאמונה בהשפעתו הגדולה של החינוך, בחרה נירית להתנדב להנהגת ההורים המרכזית בבתי הספר ביישוב אורנית, ממנו הגיעה לקליפורניה, במשך שנים רבות. במשך שלוש שנים כיהנה בתפקיד יו”ר הנהגת ההורים של בית הספר היסודי (8 שנתי) “גוונים” באורנית, ועבדה בצמוד לראש המועצה וראש אגף החינוך ביישוב להובלת יוזמות ותוכניות חינוכיות.

נירית בעלת תעודה הוראה הבצטיינות מהממכללה האקדמית לחינוך ע”ש קיי, תואר ראשון בביולוגיה מאוניברסטית תל אביב ותואר שני במנהל עסקים מאוניברסיטת בן גוריון שבנגב.

Nirit Freikorn brings over 20 years of experience in leading teams, coaching, training, marketing and sales. After many years of senior roles in the pharmaceutical business, she chose to follow her belief that “education creates our future” and decided to study education. She worked as an educator and middle school science teacher in RoshHa’ain, Israel.

Nirit founded and led the school’s leadership program. This enrichment program was aimed at fostering and developing capable students to grow into future potential leaders. Under Nirit’s leadership, students were empowered to lead cross-school campaigns, promoting important topics such as women’s rights, climate changes, sustainability, leadership responsibility and many more.

As part of her strong belief in education, Nirit volunteered throughout the year in schools’ parent associations. She served as head of the PTA for three years and worked closely with the mayor and director of education in Oranit, Israel towards leading educational change.

Nirit completed her teaching diploma from Kaya Academic College with honors. She holds a bachelor degree in biology from Tel Aviv University and an MBA from Ben Gurion University.
