Nathaniel Bergson-Michelson joined the OFJCC as Chief Marketing Officer in June 2016, following ten years overseeing marketing, communications, market research and business intelligence at the Jewish Community Center of San Francisco.
Nathaniel began his career managing public relations and editorial work for Japanese government agencies ranging from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to the Imperial Household Agency. He has also run editorial and marketing communications departments for early internet startup SayIt.com, telecommunications analyst firm RHK Inc. and college textbook publisher Thomson Learning (now Cengage). Nathaniel earned his bachelor’s degree at Harvard, where his studies focused on Japanese politics.
A Bay Area native, Nathaniel lives in San Carlos with his wife Tasha.
