Jennifer Broxmeyer is the Director of Governance at Meta. Jen leads Meta’s work on the Oversight Board, an independent body created to answer some of the most difficult questions around freedom of speech online. Before joining the Governance team, Jen drove privacy advice across Facebook, WhatsApp and Facebook Reality Labs as Associate General Counsel, Privacy. Previously, Jen led product counseling and compliance at a healthcare technology company and was an associate at Ropes & Gray.
Jen holds a JD from Yale Law School and a BA from Columbia University. On weekends, you can find her playground hopping with her two- and six-year old.
