Adam Heeger

Adam Heeger is a Bay Area-based CPA. For the last six months he has been working at Facebook in their finance organization as a revenue accounting manager. Prior to that, Adam worked for eight years at KPMG in their audit practice focusing on emerging growth companies.
Adam’s engagement at the JCC goes back almost three decades to the classrooms and playgrounds of the old Terman campus where he attended T’Enna and numerous summer camps. Several of his closest friends to this day remain people he first met all those moons ago. In more recent years Adam has served as the chair of the audit committee, working with Mark Holtzman and the rest of the finance team, the auditors and other committee members to help review and approve the financial statements. It has been a meaningful way to help utilize his professional skills to give back to the local Jewish community.
In Adam’s own words: “There are only a handful of organizations that have been part of my life as long as the JCC. I think it gives me a unique perspective on the institution and it would be an honor to help continue its legacy for the decades to come. I also know from my experience on the Audit Committee and from talking with my family there are few organizations currently as well-run and managed as the OFJCC. Being able to see first-hand from a Board position the leadership the JCC continues to take in pursuing and re-imagining a modern, vibrant Jewish community would be a great privilege.”
