Eran Sandhaus

Chair

Eran Sandhaus is an advisor and board member to leading corporations and startups in the fields of autonomous driving, connected services and smart mobility. Eran also serves as an Executive in Residence at Plug and Play Technology Center and is a member of J-Angels, a Silicon Valley based angel investing group, mentoring startups and helping them raise funds.

Most recently, he led Delphi Automotive’s Autonomous Driving and Connected Services business unit, overseeing global engineering teams, business staff and wholly owned subsidiaries focused on providing hardware, software, algorithms and cloud services to transform future mobility.

Prior to Delphi, Eran was a senior executive for over 20 years in Fortune 500 companies including Qualcomm, Cypress, Texas Instruments and Marvell. During this period Eran led global businesses focused on server communications, storage, mobile handsets and Internet-of-Things (IoT) for consumer, automotive and industrial applications. Eran managed teams and operations globally in the US, the EU, China, Israel and India.

In the past decade, Eran made investments and acquisitions that yielded accelerated growth and market share gains. These transactions included companies in the areas of big data, automotive sensors, self-driving algorithms, artificial intelligence, wireless connectivity and precise positioning.

Originally from Israel, Eran received his Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering and a Master of Business Administration from Technion University. Eran and his family have been a part of the OFJCC community since they moved to Silicon Valley in 2014. Eran has participated in numerous programs offered at the OFJCC and considers it a home and a center for their family. He and his wife Hagid have been supporting the ICC, JCC, and the Jewish Film Festival for the last few years and Eran has been an active member in ICON and J-Angels/J-Ventures. Being able to be involved in this way is a testament to the strength and the vision of the OFJCC. He and his family moved to the area after living in Shanghai and before that in Dallas, TX. Eran believes the existence of the OFJCC made his family’s transition to the area feel a lot more like home and also provided them with the opportunity to get better connected locally and contribute. Eran and his family live in Sunnyvale.
