Ed Bancroft
Chief Campus Officer
Ed Bancroft has been with the Oshman Family Jewish Community Center since 2009 in a wide variety of roles. He started as the Operations Manager for the fitness department and was later promoted to Director of Event Services overseeing the audio visual, set ups and rental departments. Most recently Ed was Senior Director of Campus Operations, which included maintenance, purchasing, parking and campus improvements. He joined the executive team as Chief Campus Officer in 2024.
Ed has a BS from San Jose State University and holds the Certified Facility Manager (CFM) and Facility Management Professional (FMP) credentials issued from IFMA. He previously worked in the fitness industry for 15 years, where he learned about large facility management. More recently, Ed was the Associate Director of Event Services for Team San Jose, overseeing all conventions and trade shows at the San Jose McEnery Convention Center. Ed also recently became a Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) volunteer through FEMA. In 2018, he attended the two-week Bay Area JCCs’ annual Staff Israel Seminar organized by the JCCSF.
A Bay Area native, Ed currently lives in Santa Cruz with his wife Meghan and daughter Sloane. Ed’s daughter attended the Leslie Family Preschool.
