Liat Frenkel holds a bachelor’s degree in biotechnological engineering from the ORT Braude College of Engineering in Israel. After having kids, she fell in love with education and decided to retrain in early childhood education at De Anza College in Cupertino.

She has extensive experience working with children. Over the years, Liat volunteered and taught at the various preschools and schools her children attended. She taught at the Jewish preschool at SPHDS in Sunnyvale, as well as at the OFJCC’s Ulpanon Hebrew immersion preschool program.

During her time at the Ulpanon, Liat led the transition to a unique curriculum, focused on the study and reinforcement of Hebrew language in the spirit of cultural Judaism and connection to Israel.
