Einav Cohen brings many years of experience teaching Hebrew to high school students. For the past 17 years, she has taught Hebrew at Kehillah Jewish High School in Palo Alto. She began her career as a Hebrew teacher in the “Prozdorr” program at the Hebrew College in Boston, where she was also trained to teach the NETA program for Hebrew speakers and non-Hebrew speakers.

In recent years, Einav has developed curricula and programs for teaching Hebrew at various levels, including Hebrew Honors 6 (the highest recognized level of high school Hebrew instruction) and seminars on topics such as Israeli law, society and culture. Three years ago, she graduated with a master’s degree in language teaching as a second language at Middlebury College in Vermont.

Einav was born in Israel and grew up in Rehovot. She served in the IDF as an officer. She also graduated from law school at Tel Aviv University and was admitted to the Israeli Bar as a lawyer, as well as to the California Bar.
