You are invited to an evening of remembrance, hope and unity as we come together to mark October 7th.

Through personal testimony, art and music, we will hear firsthand stories from family members of Kibbutz Nir Oz, an IDF soldier who fought on the front lines in the Gaza envelope and a college student navigating grief and identity on campus.

A traveling exhibition by ANU – Museum of the Jewish People will be on display in the lobby. The exhibition explores the response of Israeli culture to the events of October 7. It features works of art and a documentary installation, accompanied by a playlist of Israeli music that reflects the soundtrack of this period. The exhibition will be on display the lobby from October 1 through October 22.

Together, we will honor the memories of those we lost, lift up the voices of our community and look toward a future filled with hope.

The event will be held in English.

שלוש שנים ל-7 באוקטובר

הזיכרונות שלנו - התקווה שלנו - הקהילה שלנו 

הצטרפו אלינו לערב של זיכרון, תקווה ואחדות, בו נתכנס יחד לציון אירועי 7 באוקטובר.

באמצעות עדויות אישיות, אמנות ומוזיקה, נשמע סיפורים אישיים מפי בני משפחותיהם של תושבי קיבוץ ניר עוז, חייל צה״ל שלחם בעוטף עזה, וסטודנט המתמודד עם אובדן ועם שאלות של זהות בקמפוס.

בלובי האולם תוצג תערוכה נודדת של מוזיאון "אנו - מוזיאון העם היהודי" העוסקת בתגובתה של התרבות הישראלית לשביעי באוקטובר. בתערוכה מוצגות עבודות אמנות ומיצב דוקומנטרי, והיא מלווה בפלייליסט של מוזיקה ישראלית, המורכב מפסקול התקופה. 

התערוכה תוצג בלובי האולם בתאריכים 1 אוקטובר עד 22 באוקטובר.

יחד נוקיר את זכרם של אלו שאיבדנו, ניתן מקום לקולות של חברי הקהילה שלנו, ונביט קדימה אל עתיד מלא תקווה.
