Carol Saal has been a fundraiser on behalf of the Jewish community for over 40 years. As president of the Albert L. Schultz Jewish Community Center she initiated and led the effort to build the Taube Koret Campus housing the Oshman Family JCC and the Moldaw Residences.
Carol helped found the Center for Clinical Immunology at Stanford and was one of three parent-founders of the country’s fifth Ronald McDonald House in Palo Alto. In 2008, she was awarded an honorary doctorate degree by the Ben-Gurion University Board of Governors in recognition of her lifelong dedication to volunteerism and philanthropy.
She has two children, Jessica, of blessed memory, and Nathaniel. She has two grandchildren, Jared and Dalia.
