Adam Tachner

Adam Tachner currently serves as Executive Chairman of Magtera, as well as the CEO of a stealth-mode software start-up, Runara.ai. Adam was most recently VP, Finance, CorpDev and CLO at Groq, which was acquired by Nvidia. Previously, as head of the legal and compliance functions at Atheros, Adam supported the company’s rapid growth from a pre-revenue innovator to a market-leading IPO. After acquisition, he helped integrate Atheros into Qualcomm’s global operations. Adam then held both corporate development and general counsel roles at Google’s Access division and at fabless MEMS leader InvenSense, now the sensor division of TDK. A registered patent attorney, Adam began his legal career as an associate at the law firm Crosby Heafey Roach & May.
Adam holds a JD from the University of Oregon School of Law, MBAs from Columbia University and UC Berkeley, a BS degree in electrical engineering from CalState University, Fullerton and a BA in social sciences from the University of California, Berkeley.
Adam lives in Palo Alto, California with his wife Christine and their three children, who are all Hebrew day school graduates and currently high school or university students.
